This poster promotes Harbourfront Centre’s Contemporary Craft Series 2023. I built the design around abstract, sliced letterforms from “Innovations & Ideas,” using angled bands to suggest the energy of making. A tight typographic system and a black, coral, and soft gray palette guide the eye from the year to the venue and time, then to the schedule of artists: Micah Adams, Julie Moschenross, Aaron Oussoren, and Rose-Angeli Ringor. The result reads quickly from a distance and invites a closer look at the details.
